In markdown, soft-wrapping should break lines at characters other than whitespace.

When a long line is soft-wrapped, the wrapping behavior seems to want to wrap at a space instead of at actual wrap width:

Still seeing this issue with wrapping

This is our current intended behavior. We try to wrap lines at spaces, and only break a line "mid-word" as a last resort.

Maybe there is some refinement or exception to this rule that you'd want in the case of Markdown? It looks like Sublime is deciding to wrap the line at a /. So maybe some kind of language-specific rule is needed.

Since I don't think we have clarity on exactly what behavior we want, I'm going to convert this to a discussion.
