This happens only on Linux, but not on macOS. Why?

Pd freezes when a callback 0 or callback 1 is sent. Happens with mediasettings library and through Pd's media menu.

This happens only with:

  • JACK enabled in Pd
  • JACK provided by pipewire

Tested on Ubuntu 24.04 that comes with pipewire by default
