[BUG] - signin fails when the user taps the screen

The bug
if the user needs to signin with Google, just before the Google accounts options appears, the screen goes a bit dark. If the user taps it, it doesn't show the Google accounts options, but the spinner is still spinning.

To Reproduce

• if signed in to the account then sign out.
• just before the Google accounts options show, press on the screen.

Expected behavior
Or try opening the Google accounts options again or display the sign-in button.
