Method 1

Press test when backup battery error occurs during boot. Select "BACKUP CLEAR" then press P1 start. Select "SOUND TEST" and then select "SOUND FLASH INIT" and then press P1 start. You can start the game now.

Method 2

Press test when backup battery error occurs during boot. Select "ALL FACTORY SETTINGS" and then follow the prompts to initialize the settings. Select "SOUND CHECK" and then "INITIALIZE SOUND FLASH" and then follow the prompts to initialize the sound flash. You can start the game now.
