Using DWatcher

Welcome to the DWatcherV1 wiki!

  • Configure: -Pause Time: (Default 30 seconds) - Lets you select the time between checks of the data source (in seconds). -Data Source: (Default: dstarusers.org) - Lets you select the source of data for DWatcher to watch.

  • Monitoring: -Enter the callsigns you want to watch for in the boxes on the left (you may monitor up to 6 at a time). -Click the Monitor button. -You can add more callsigns or change the ones in the list while monitoring; results will show on the next refresh (based on pause interval). -If a monitored callsign is detected, its information will be shown (time heard, reporting node, node location, and time since heard in minutes).

  • Stop: -Click the Stop button to discontinue monitoring.

  • Status: -The Status box shows what the program is doing. If "Contacting server" appears and stays there, you may not have a good Internet connection or, you have specified and invalid data source.

If you see a negative value for "Minutes Since Last Heard" it probably means a difference between your PC's clock and the source clock.
