Installing the AppScale Tools on Mac OS X

Introduction

This document details how to build the AppScale Tools on Mac OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion). If you run into any problems, you can get help via the AppScale Community group or join #appscale on freenode.

Step 1: Install homebrew

Install homebrew first.

Make sure that homebrew is installed properly with brew doctor. Fix all issues if there are any.

Step 2: Get appscale-tools

brew install appscale-tools

And you're good to go!
