This is a passion project created and maintained by me, Caleb Lovell.
Once upon a time, I studied political science and became fascinated by the way different voting systems prioritize different values, and can lead to vastly different outcomes.
This site uses First Past The Post, Ranked Choice and STAR voting systems.
The site is also focused on privacy first. I use zero 3rd party cookies, collect no personal data and run no ads. And I never will!
To install and test this repo out locally:
- Clone the repo locally
- Run
yarn installto install the project's dependencies - Run
yarn devto start the site in the dev mode of Next.js
This site exists as a fun project to help people create and learn about alternative voting systems. You are welcome to reference or use it however you wish.
