I might be wrong, but to me it looks like you are using systemd and openrc in your script?
I would stick with systemd for this install script as it is standard for arch or give a choice and save that in the install.conf

Otherwise this looks awesome and I might use this for my next arch install. I just want to see how bad windows 11 really is for myself before I switch to linux again 😆

This is interesting, I'm going to incorporate this after the user section but will probably drop about 50% of the code like the openrc references as that isn't going to do anything on this system. I dig the joypixels addition for emojis as that is difficult to make look good on a Linux system.

I will modify this to my needs and test it first in a VM^^
But there are many things in this script I didn't know about which are very interesting and seem to be very useful.
After reading through the script, it shouldn't break anything so after removing those openrc references (and some stuff I don't want) I am comfortable using it on my machine

u can remove the openrc and make a systemctl script out of it
