Daily JLPT N5 Vocabulary is a Chrome extension designed specifically to help Arabic-speaking learners of the Japanese language, particularly those preparing for the JLPT N5 level. This extension provides a random selection of JLPT N5 vocabulary words daily, allowing users to review and memorize essential words in an interactive and engaging way.

Features

  • Daily Vocabulary Review: Each day, the extension presents users with a new vocabulary word from the JLPT N5 level, including its Kanji, Furigana, and meaning in Arabic.
  • Favorite Words: Users can add words to their favorites list, allowing for focused review of words that require more attention.
  • Randomized Vocabulary: The extension shuffles the vocabulary list, ensuring that users encounter a different word order each time they open it.
  • Previous and Next Navigation: Users can easily navigate through the words using the "Next" and "Previous" buttons.

  • Simple and Intuitive Design: The extension features a clean and user-friendly interface, with a dark theme that is easy on the eyes.
  • Listen on Forvo: A button is provided to listen to the pronunciation of the vocabulary word by a native speaker on Forvo.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository or download the ZIP file.
  2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
  3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
  4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the directory containing the extension files.
  5. The extension will now appear in your Chrome extensions list.

Usage

  1. Click on the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
  2. Review the vocabulary word presented, and click on "Next" to see a new word.
  3. Add words to your favorites by clicking the "Add to Favorites" button. Review them later by clicking "View Favorites".
  4. Click on "About" to learn more about the extension and its purpose.
  5. Click on "Listen on Forvo" to hear the pronunciation by a native speaker.
