Welcome to Sumo 2019!

This Wiki has the instructions you'll need to get started.

We've organized this so that multiple people can be working on things at the same time. One team member can wire the robot, one team member can build the frame, and the third team member can upload the code. At the end, all three of these components will come together into a working robot!

As always, call a GW Robotics team member over if you have any questions.

Suggested Order of Operations

  1. Wire your electronic components
  2. Build your robot frame
  3. Get the code uploaded
  4. Call a GW Robotics member over! You're ready for your battery.
  5. Try connecting to your bot and driving it around! Note: this "debugging" step will probably give you the most problems out of all these steps

Notice for Mac users

You will need to download and install an additional driver to get our controllers to work on your computer. Get it here.
