GoOdf is a tool for creating (and editing) organ definition files (.organ files) for GrandOrgue in a graphical user interface that doesn't require any manual editing of the text in the file at all. Remember that you will most likely need some samples to reference to from the .organ file! Either download or create them if you want to have a fully functional organ to "Open" in GrandOrgue!

- Download GoOdf https://github.com/GrandOrgue/GoOdf/releases
- Extract the downloaded archive and simply run the executable in place from the /bin directory, there is no installation process!
- When creating a new .organ file always start with setting the expected location where the file will be written
- Set the name of the .organ file without the extension, to save the file as - simply change the name of the file
- Set the church name which will be used by GrandOrgue to identify the organ
- Create Windchestgroups, Manuals with Stops, Couplers and all the other objects you want to have in your organ
- Customize the main panel and possibly create additional panels for the graphical display of the organ
- Save the .organ file with Ctrl+S or in the File menu select "Write ODF"
