Our Final Project focuses on the Asian Community. With this project we wish to provide resources and interactive maps. We are focusing on three areas: Asian Demographic, Asian Hate Crime, and Asian Restaurants & Communities. The data from these maps were collected from diverse source. A special thank you to Stop AAPI for providing us with data and giving us the opportunity to gather primary data. The tools to build these visualization were primarily Altair (a python library).

Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/INFO-4602-5602/final-project-Oceanestars.git
Install Firebase:
npm install -g firebase-tools
If that doesn't work, try adding sudo to install Firebase (this will require your computer password):
sudo npm install -g firebase-tools
Log in to Firebase by typing the line below on terminal and typing your username and password on the pop up Firebase website:
firebase login
Start a Local server:
firebase serve
