My name is Isabell Victoria Strandby Ernst... or just Isabell. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern Denmark, which I completed in August 2024. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the MadLab group at the same department and institution. My doctoral research spanned both wet-lab and dry-lab work, focusing on single-cell multiomic techniques applied to Islets of Langerhans from mice. As a researcher, I am motivated by a desire to engage in work that is meaningful, while prioritizing transparency, organization, and reproducibility in research practices.
