Phenomenology Study

Automated ntuples to paper plots in 3 easy steps

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/LydiaBer/pheno_study.git

  2. Go into the plotting directory: cd pheno_study/analysis/plotting

  3. Run the automated script and wait for plots to appear in figs directory: ./runMe_for_paper_results.sh

Enjoy.

Code structure

This code consists of the following directories:

delphes to perform event reconstruction and detector smearing & efficiencies

analysis folder containing code for the resolved, intermediate and boosted analyses

tagger folder containing code for the advanced B-tagger for the boosted channel -> To be integrated to the main boosted code

utilities folder containing other code e.g. C++ code which can be used to make histograms, python_hepmc_new.py which can be used to split large hepmc files in smaller sized files. Not needed currently.

Setup environment (to be done each time the code is used!)

source setup.sh

The README file in each of the directories provides further information about compiling and running the code in that directory.
