  • Replace Python linting from flake8 to ruff
  • Use a separate readme for Python and add some Python specific contents
  • Consistent naming for GitHub Actions
  • Update Python format and linting target to 3.8+ since 3.7 is end-of-life
  • Add GitHub Action to install python dependencies when requirements.txt changes to do a sanity check for dependabot updates
