Jobs Automation: Are Machines Taking Over? - The Case of Automation and its Relation to Aspects of Employment in England

Since the invention of computers and modern communication systems, there have always been questions about the potential of machines with automation capabilities to take over people's jobs. This project therefore aims at studying the phenomenon of automation risk on jobs and its relation to other aspects of employment such as skills, disputes, and employees lifestyle. One of the main endeavors is to conclude if automation reduces job opportunities in general or are new job types are created as a result of new technologies?
