Creating a Discord Bot and Inviting it to a server

Go on Discord Developer Board (maybe needless to say but you will need a Discord account)
In the page that opens click "New Application"

Give it a name

Copy the application ID, you will need this to invite the bot you just created to a Discord server that you have permission to.

Visit this link and in the link replace "CLIENT_ID" with your application ID.
In the dropdown menu, select the server you want to invite the bot to and hit continue. There may be a captcha after that.
Congrats. You should now see the bot has joined the server.
