Golden Days 1.7.0
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Golden Days is getting a big update, the 1.7 update!
There are many changes, and the packs are now made to target Vanilla rather than OptiFine. If something is possible with Vanilla, I have tried my best to do it!

Here are all of the changes...
Golden Days Base
- Overhauled beds to be more beta-like and fixed leg textures
- Overhauled boats to be more beta-like in Vanilla and accurate with CEM
- New textures for Raw Mutton and Cooked Mutton
- Added Vanilla shaders for grayscale lighting (lightmaps still included for OptiFine)
- Sadly these do not work in Sodium. I recommend using Indium and Colormatic in this case.
- Used MATH to create a vanilla Beta water
- Azalea Leaves have no AO
- Custom textures for Glow Lichen
- Removed underwater dot and falling dust particles
- Dropped items are now 2D
- Overhauled sounds for many blocks, including custom sounds
- New textures for Raw Rabbit and Cooked Rabbit
- New positioning for holding tools in third person
- Bows now draw back, but are still held like items in third person
- Shulkers are now in line with Beta wool colors
- Trapdoor item models are now accurate to Beta
- Fixed sizing of oversized dropped items (cactus, stairs, trapdoors, etc.)
- Made bamboo leaves diagonal
- Added a blue Cod entity texture to match the item
- Made Powder Snow look more like snow
Golden Days Alpha
- Made all colormap changes VANILLA and not using OptiFine
- Made Spruce Leaves a recolor of their Beta texture
- Make Alpha color versions of:
- Azalea Leaves
- Flowering Azalea Leaves
- Azalea
- Flowering Azalea
- Moss Block
- Bamboo
- Vines
- Edited Podzol to be slightly less jarring
Golden Days FastChest
- Created a new addon for the FastChest mod
- Allows Beta blocky chest and ambient occlusion
