Goal of the project:

The goal of this project was to create a URL Shortener website using React.js, Chakra UI, and the api.shrtco.de API. The website is designed to provide users with a quick and easy way to shorten long URLs, making them more manageable and shareable.

Process of development:

The development of the URL Shortener website involved designing a user-friendly interface using Chakra UI components and integrating the api.shrtco.de API to shorten URLs. The website was built using React.js, a popular front-end JavaScript library that allowed for the creation of a responsive and dynamic user interface. The website was also optimized for performance and tested rigorously to ensure it functions correctly under different loads.

Features of the project:

1. URL Shortening: 
The website allows users to enter long URLs and quickly shorten them using the shrtco URL Shortener API. The shortened URLs are automatically copied to the user's clipboard for easy sharing.

2. Custom Short URLs: 
Users can customize the shortened URL by entering a custom alias, allowing for a more personalized and memorable link.

3. Responsive Design: 
The website is designed to be responsive and easily accessible from any device, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

4. User-Friendly Interface: 
The website features a modern and intuitive interface that makes it easy for users to shorten URLs and access previous Links. The Chakra UI components used in the interface provide a consistent and visually appealing design.
