Preparing for serious Kaggle competitions!

Overview

• home-depot: I finished this one with a ranking of 98th out of 2125 teams (~ 5%). You can find out how I preprocessed the dataset, constructed features, trained different models and built my final ensemble. I also wrote a summary for this as a comprehensive beginner guide. Feel free to suggest how to improve it.

• santander: This is the first Kaggle competition I started. It got very difficult in the halfway therefore I decided to switch to Home Depot. Nothing useful there.

• sf-crime: Literally a 'playground' dataset on Kaggle. I used this as an introduction to Kaggle competitions.
