Overview
This is the initial release of the TwinSync the Folder Duplication Script packaged as a macOS application. The script uses rsync to duplicate folders, removes unwanted .DS_Store files, and provides a summary of the operation with file count and size. This release allows users to interact with the script via a drag-and-drop interface in the macOS application, created with Platypus. It's designed for simple drag & drop back up for large amounts of files.
Key Features
Folder Duplication: Uses rsync to efficiently copy folders, preserving metadata.
Drag-and-Drop Interface: Simple user interface for selecting folders, built using Platypus.
.DS_Store Cleanup: Automatically removes .DS_Store files from the source and destination directories.
Summary Report: Provides a summary with total files copied and total size (displayed in GB or MB).
Error Handling: Includes validation for folder existence and prevents overwriting if the destination folder already exists.
Usage
Drag and drop a folder onto the application window to begin duplication.
The duplicated folder will be created on your desktop with "rsync folder" appended to the original folder name.
Installation
