About The Project

This started out as just a script to upload MCU release dates to a Google Calendar. Previously I've found calendars that other people maintained manually that eventually went stale. The intention of this repo is that the release information can be crowd sourced and easy to pick up if I ever drop the ball on maintaining it.

I've had many requests for other calendars so I've added support for other calendars.

Note: I don't personally folloow all of these release dates that closely, so please let me know if something is missing or goes out of date

For each calendar I will list the URl and if you would like to add it directly to your calendar, the public iCal address will also be listed

Adding or Updating media information

If you just have a release date to add or update, there are a few ways you can help.

1. Fork the repo and create a pull request like
2. Open an issue with the tag "bug" and wait for me or another contributor to update it.
3. Make sure the information in https://www.themoviedb.org is what we expect to automatically update
   • MCU media needs Marvel Studios as a production company
   • MCU Adjacent movies need Marvel Entertainment as a production company
   • DCEU movies need to have DC Films as a production company
   • Star Wars shows need to have Lucas Films as a production company, and "Star Wars Universe" as a keyword
