Useful for working with TCP; if I did cord.await on the receive callback, and then I find out that the connection was lost, I want to be able to cancel the cord. Because I don't receive the connection_lost callback right away, I may wait on the receive callback after the connection was lost; these race conditions aren't possible to avoid completely.
