In general buildings can be built only around either an Headquarter or a Tower. The maximum distance is 3 tiles (horizontal, vertical and diagonal). The only excepting is the Tower itself which has a maximum distance of 4 tiles.
You can't build any building next to (2 Tiles) hostile buildings or armies. You'll have to defeat or destroy them first!
Those buildings will grant resources you need for recruiting armies.
It's not possible to build a headquarter. This building is placed at the start position of each player and represents their base. Throug 'trading' the Headquater generates a small income of all types.

The small House is the cheapest in terms of production compared to larger housings. Therefore it comes with the tradeoff, that you need space to build enough small Houses to have the same output as larger versions.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 5 |
Wood Cost | 10 |
Hitpoints | 150 |
Buildspeed | 1 (1 Turn) |
Gold yield | 0 |
Wood yield | 0 |

The medium House is a good choice in between the large House and the small House. It costs slighly more than building two small Houses but therefore takes less space.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 12 |
Wood Cost | 22 |
Hitpoints | 250 |
Buildspeed | 0.5 (2 Turns) |
Gold yield | 0 |
Wood yield | 0 |
Food yield | 0 |
People yield | 4 |
Although compared to the small House quite expensive, the large House takes much less space. To get the same people yield, you'd need 4 small Houses - thus blocking 400% more space.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 28 |
Wood Cost | 52 |
Hitpoints | 400 |

The farm is needed to build fields and producing food.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 10 |
Wood Cost | 30 |
Hitpoints | 100 |
Buildspeed | 0.5 (2 Turns) |

Fields are your way of producing food. You can build up to 8 fields around a single farm. Fields need to be close to a farm and can't be further away than one node (vertical, horizontal, diagonal).
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 8 |
Wood Cost | 4 |
Hitpoints | 50 |
Buildspeed | 1 (1 Turn) |

For buildings and armies, you'll need gold, Mines provide gold. Mines can be built only close to a gold object, this means on each of the 4 adjacent tiles.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 10 |
Wood Cost | 30 |
Hitpoints | 300 |
Buildspeed | 0.25 (4 Turns) |

People yield | 0 |
For buildings, you'll need wood, Sawmills provide wood. Sawmills can be built only close to a forest object, this means on each of the 4 adjacent tiles.
Datasheet:
Data | Value |
---|---|
Gold Cost | 30 |
Wood Cost | 10 |
Hitpoints | 250 |

Those buildings enable you to recruit and improve armies or expand your building areas.
To recruit a new army you'll need a Barracks. Using the Army Management screen you can recruit a new army up to 2 tiles around any Barracks you own.

To improve your armies and add an archer regiment, your army needs to be next to an Archer range. An archer regiment increases your army strength (minimum roll value) by 1.

To improve your armies and add a horsemen regiment, your army needs to be next to an Stable. A horsemen regiment increases your army strength (minimum roll value) by 2.

The Tower acts like an Headquarter and allows you to build buildings around it. It's the only building that can be built at a distance of up to 4 tiles to any other Headquarter or Tower. After the building is finished, you'll be able to build in it's vacinity.
