"Jessie 'The Bottie' Venturer" (hereby known as JTBV) is released under the 
NTBL (Nethack Tournament Bot License).

All code for this bot is freely available for inclusion in any other project, 
free of all charges except for the following condition.

If you write a bot using code that is licensed under the NTBL and enter your 
bot into a publicly-available competition (such as the annual Devnull Nethack 
tournament), then we ask that you release your code (or at least AI/logic 
algorithms) after the tournament is over.

This will promote a continuing progression of friendly Nethack bot writing 
competition. We realize not all competition bots need to be closed-source, 
but we also understand that many people need help to get started. Bots 
licensed under the NTBL are intended to be educational and fun for people 
looking to get into the fun competiton of writing AI that dies over and over 
and over again.
