This is done temporarily until such time conditional log parameter can be fixed for cron/scheduled events.

This is done temporarily until such time conditional log parameter can be fixed for cron/scheduled events.
The individual Item IDs get logged anyway via the log that shows the request.
Having the individual logging is redundant and messier because it logs the entire Item object. There is no need to expose that to the logs outside of testing and debugging.
