TIBCO® Developer Hub v1.1.0

The following features have been added in this release of TIBCO® Developer Hub

Upgraded Backstage Base Version
Upgraded the underlying Backstage version from 1.11.1 to 1.21.1 that brings the latest security and bug fixes and introduces secret field. This brings a revamp of the TIBCO Developer Hub UI.

Installing a Custom Version of TIBCO Developer Hub
Users can install their custom version of TIBCO Developer Hub through a wizard in TIBCO Control Plane. For more information, see Installing a Custom Version.

GitHub Apps Integration
Users can configure TIBCO Developer Hub to use GitHub Apps for backend authentication. GitHub Apps offers higher rate limits and that TIBCO Developer Hub can function as an app instead of a bot or a user account. It also provides a better and clear authorization model rather than the OAuth applications and their respective scopes. For more information, see GitHub Apps .

Installing a Custom Plug-in
Users can install custom plug-ins like Jenkins, JIRA, and more in their TIBCO Developer Hub instance. It helps users to expose pretty much any kind of infrastructure or software development tool as a plug-in in their TIBCO Developer Hub instance. Users can select 170+ plug-ins from Backstage plug-ins. For more information, see Installing a Custom Plug-in.
