How to cite plugin?

We do not have a separate paper for this plugin, plus, it is constantly under development.

Therefore there are two ways to do it, depending on a journal policy:

  1. You can cite it by providing a direct link to the code, pointing out the version, something like this:

"detection and quantification were performed using Detection of Molecules (DoM) plugin v.1.2.5 for ImageJ (https://github.com/UU-cellbiology/DoM_Utrecht)."

and specify the parameters range used.

  1. Alternatively, you can use Zenodo DOI for the link to the specific release:

Katrukha E. 2020, Detection of Molecules (DoM) plugin for ImageJ, v1.2.1, Zenodo, doi:10.5281/zenodo.4281069
