@kylejgillett @kgoebber Just wanted to point out that you can take advantage of pint built-in string formatting to make this code a bit simpler and less hard-coded around units. For completeness, 0.f~P means:

• 0.f: Format the magnitude (which is a float) as a number with no values past the decimal (and no decimal point)
• ~P: Format the unit as pretty-printed (Unicode symbols as available), using symbols instead of full unit names
