If you're hiding the splash you should show the main window earlier to avoid making Vesktop feel unresponsive. I've done this locally already. Could you give me push perms on this fork? This also resolves a goal of #667 |

run with
--no-splashto ignore it, could be a settings as well if needed but it seemed a bit overkill to me.
