Part I: the abdication of Nicholas II and the coming to power of the Provisional Government (February Revolution).
Part II: the uprising in Petrograd and the coming to power of the Bolsheviks (October Revolution).

Description of changes:

  1. From the event "ww1_russia.4" (Abdication of the Tsar + Soviet Revolution), a separate event "ww1_russia.22" (October Revolution) was separated. The following hidden effect from the event "ww1_russia.4" has been moved to the "ww1_russia.22" event:
  • Russia's withdrawal from the Entente
  • Creation of Soviet Russia
  • Creation of the Comintern faction
  • Declaration of war by Soviet Russia, target: Russia
  • Annexation of Mongolia by Soviet Russia (note: I did not find such an event in historical sources, I think, it should be removed)
  • Load oob "SOV_Revolt_01"
  • Country event "ww1_soviet.99"
  • Country selection options (Russia or Soviet Russia)
  1. For the event "ww1_russia.5" the condition "RUS: has_country_flag = bolsheviks" has been added. This is necessary so that this event can only happen after the event "ww1_russia.22" (where this flag is set).
  2. The event "ww1_russia.20" (Civil War) takes place 420 days after the Brest-Litovsk Treaty. Since the October Revolution event historically occurs between the February Revolution and the start of the Civil War, the 420 days of waiting for the Civil War is reduced to 210, and the freed 210 days are transferred to waiting for the October Revolution (historically there is approximately an 8 month difference between these two events).
  3. The names of country leaders have been changed to tags.
  4. The event "ww1_russia.22" was added to the localisation files and the event "ww1_russia.4" was changed (EN, FR, DE, PL, RU).

Part I: the abdication of Nicholas II and the coming to power of the Provisional Government (February Revolution).
Part II: the uprising in Petrograd and the coming to power of the Bolsheviks (October Revolution).

Annexation of Mongolia by Soviet Russia is a quick stuff made to cover a bit the total mess the Revolutions (both in Russia and China) made in the Region, it's not historical ofc but after 1917 and during the interwar period both White Russians and Chinese Warlords were interested by Mongolia (and occupied a part of it) and to avoid a total control the Soviets supported the Mongolian People's Party.

That period is very interesting for the Interwar Scenario.

Btw thanks a lot for getting into the Bolchevik Revolution, is a fragile part in the Mod (many events related to it) but you mades that very nice. We need to make many checks before integrating it in the Mod and since Paradox released another update we need to double check even more.

Thank you, I appreciate that!

The idea that Mongolia eventually became socialist makes sense to me. The only thing is that I don’t really like the timing of the event (immediately after the October Revolution) and the status of Mongolia (a state of Soviet Russia). I propose this temporary option: 500 days after the October Revolution, Mongolia becomes socialist (changes the government to communist and joins the Comintern). And only then you can try to create a scenario more similar to the historical one: China occupied Mongolia, then Mongolia was liberated by the White movement, and then the Mongolian People's Party came to power.

What do you think? I can do this in the next pull request.

Maybe with an Event for Mongolia (it's safer)
That way Mongolia can choose to become socialist or not (with an AI factor more favorable to Soviet). Timed events are dangerous, for exemple if Soviet Russia got crushed in less than the 500 days it's not logic they continue to follow socialism.

Hi @kremastra , sorry we didn't see your message earlier. We've been working like crazy on developing Fields of History, so we've been really focused on that. Also, Paradox has released a few patches in the meantime, so we haven't had the chance to redo integration testing with your improvements for the Russian Revolution.
How about you, how are you doing?

Hello, guys! It's okay. You were doing very important work, and that's cool. I have temporarily stopped making changes to my fork to prevent the differences from becoming too significant. If you manage to check out my pull request in the near future (you can tell me the approximate time if you want), that would be great!
