Description
Updates a package with a vulnerability (ip).
Added prettier to the project, and run it to update the codebase with the prettier defaults.
update the node version to 20 (for the semantic release requirements), and organizes the fields in package.json to match the conventions we use in other places.
I recommend checking the code with the whitespace disabled in the github diff viewer.
