This project was developed within the scope of Software Development Laboratory curricular unit of my Software Engineering degree.
The project aims to develop an innovative social network with an approach tailored to our generation, where communication is guided by discretion and respect for users' privacy. Inspired by the Tinder model, the application offers an interactive platform where users can connect, communicate, and potentially establish relationships.
- Unlike other social networks, messages between users will only be delivered if there is a mutual "match". This creates a more controlled and respectful experience, ensuring that messages are shared only between interested parties.
- Messages sent without a "match" are stored in the database, preserving users' privacy. These messages are not delivered to the recipient until a mutual match occurs, allowing users to communicate without the pressure of an immediate response.
- The project acknowledges the different forms of interaction and communication in today's society, providing a platform that adapts to the dynamics and preferences of a generation that values privacy and thoughtfulness in social interactions.
