Hi, I'm @bart-kroon,

  • The main focus of my work at Philips Research Eindhoven is AR/VR video, and within this role I am actively participating in MPEG Immersive Video (MPEG-I) 3DoF+ and 6DoF Video standardization. Besides that I also provide technology licensing support for glasses-free 3D technology (optical design, rendering and auto-conversion).

  • Expertise: standardization, technology licensing support, pattern recognition, computer vision, machine learning, data mining, 2D and 3D image and video processing, coherent and incoherent optics, ultrasound, multimedia retrieval, database design, user interface design.
