Nuxt 3 codebase containing real world examples (CRUD, auth, advanced patterns, etc) that adheres to the RealWorld spec and API.
This codebase was created to demonstrate a fully fledged fullstack application built with Nuxt 3 including CRUD operations, authentication, routing, pagination, and more.
We've gone to great lengths to adhere to the Nuxt 3 community styleguides & best practices.
For more information on how to this works with other frontends/backends, head over to the RealWorld repo.
Our Nuxt application acts as an intermediary between the client and an external API, forwarding requests from the client to the external API and then returning the responses back to the client. Basically it acts as a proxy and doesn't have any defined API endpoints.
All API calls are abstracted into composables to make working with server state clearer and more consistent.
npm install && npm run setup-git-hooks && npm run dev
To run tests for this application, you can use the test script in the package.json file:
npm run test
This command uses Vitest as the test runner.
For mocking API responses during testing, the project uses @nuxt/test-utils. This utility helps to set up the Nuxt context for each test and provides API mocking capabilities.
- Add a visual feedback to all errors
- Add client-side validation for forms
- Convert the app into a full-stack application by developing API endpoints instead of relying on the external API
