This is a small hotfix release which addresses a few minor v2.5.x-related items.

Fixes

  • Fixed a small styling issue with the Band component to remove extra space showing up below expanded Background-embedded videos in IE 11. #1277 and #1280

Updates

  • Added a new Pattern Lab demo of the Modal component wired up to automatically open when a specific video starts playing via existing code + APIs. . This example should help make the Drupal integration of modals into existing buttons / videos integrations be even smoother #1279

  • Added a new no-quotes prop to the Blockquote component to allow the automatically added quotation marks to be optionally disabled. #1281 and #1278

Note: This is a temporary workaround to account for Blockquote instances with hard-coded quotation marks added to the content. Once we ship support for automatically handling language-specific quotes, these hard coded instances will be able to be removed and the default component functionality + stylized quote styles used.
