Restores functionality of the extension until the new extension is ready. Since this source of the extension is deprecated by Mozilla in favour of a new extension that is still being developed, installation is not as trivial as opening the extension on firefox. The preferred extension tested to work with Firefox Nightly 96 on Windows 10 is firefox-translations-0.4.5.xpi.

For unsigned xpi's built via GitHub CI or locally by a developer, additional config preferences apply:
Make sure that the following preferences are set to true in about:config:
