Prices are converted by using the Euro foreign exchange rates provided by the European Central Bank (ECB) see: http://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/exchange/eurofxref/html/index.en.html
This version includes manual updates for currencies.
The reference rates are usually updated by 3 p.m. C.E.T. They are based on a regular daily concertation procedure between central banks across Europe and worldwide, which normally takes place at 2.15 p.m. CET.
Please note:
As of 1 July 2016 the reference rates will be updated at around 16:00 CET.
LimeSoda_CurrencyConverter enables the price conversion between different currencies, provided by the ECB or Yahoo.
Settings for the module can be found under Configuration > General > Currency Setup > LimeSoda Currency Converter
LimeSoda_CurrencyConverter has been tested with the following Magento versions:

Navigate to System > Manage Currency > Rates
Select ECB or Yahoo as the Import Service, run the import and click the "Save Currency Rates" button.
