This prevent security errors detected by vite.
Most of the dependencies have been updated. Due to problems with ts-jest, we migrate from jest to vitest which is compatible and a bit faster. A lot of issues detected by eslint (updated) have been fixed along the way.
This package depends on Vue2 which is now marked as deprecated, and thus we have npm audit warnings. Instead we create a `.d.ts` file.
