### Connecting to additional hostnames

If you have declared `additional_hostnames` in `.ddev/config.yaml` these must be added as `external_links` to `selenium-chrome` to prevent `unknown error: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED`.

1. Create a new docker compose yaml file in the `.ddev` folder eg `docker-compose.additional-hostnames.yaml`.
2. Declare the additional hostnames as `external_links` in the yaml file you created. For example:

If your additional_hostnames in your `config.yaml` file are:
```yaml
additional_hostnames:
- sub-a.site-name
- another-name
```
Your `docker-compose.additional-hostnames.yaml` would look like:
```yaml
services:
selenium-chrome:
external_links:
- ddev-router:sub-a.site-name.${DDEV_TLD}
- ddev-router:another-name.${DDEV_TLD}
```
