Remapping Windows shortcuts to feel like macOS
- This task requires Windows PowerToys to be installed
- You may install it from the Windows Store or via Winget
winget install --id Microsoft.PowerToys
from Windows Terminal
- Open PowerToys (can be found in the system tray, start menu)
- Navigate to the Keyboard Manager tab from the left hand sidebar
- Toggle the Enable Keyboard Manager switch at the top
- Create the following actions:
- ^ These changes will make the keyboard behave more like macOS, turning your Alt key into the ⌘ / CMD key
