With this release, BetterVideoPlayer will be migrated to a Kotlin codebase.

  • There are no essential changes to API following the alpha release of 1.2
  • SpinKit was already removed, now MaterialProgressBar is also removed.
  • BetterVideoPlayer now uses AndroidX components.
