Progress update:
- Finish task 5 (particle iolets). Mayeul.
- We won't have tight packing init for the conference. We will init advecting one after the other. The XML gives the time between insertions. We would like to add a
- We need to make the orientation irregular. Symmetry axis has to be parallel to the direction of flow plus some noise. We want to achieve a stack of RBCs. Symmetry axis of RBC files is Z axis.
- We will implement cell growth in the virtual inlet. Cell growth with walls. Code will figure out where to place the cells before growing them based on knowledge of cylindrical domain. Mayeul/Gary.
- Won't be achieved. See previous for solution.
- VMTK flow extensions. Miguel
- Run sims with network and study whether cells have settled by the first turn. If not, add flow extensions to the geometry. We will need the minimum radius of the inlet for the algorithm that checks wall intersection.
- Task 9: Cell output via HDF5 (or derived) and postprocessing scripts to generate Paraview vis. Gary.
- I/O framework for H5 is done but files are not being populated. Generating post processing scripts will be next.
Tasks:
- Mayeul: Implement perturbations to RBC input.
- Miguel: Setup simulation with network. Possibly consider VMTK flow extensions.
- Timm: To visually check simulation with network.
- Gary: First populate H5 file and then look into post processing.
