BatMobile is a proof-of-concept demonstration of automated identification of UK bat species – on a mobile phone. It was funded by Jisc, as part of the Research Tools strand of their Digital Infrastructure Research Programme, and implemented by ILRT at the University of Bristol.

BatMobile is part of the Nature Locator suite of mobile apps for biological surveys and crowd-sourcing. For further details, please see the project blog.
