+I'm happy to announce that I've embarked on a new chapter at University of California San Diego (UCSD), where I'll be joining [Julian McAuley](https://cseweb.ucsd.edu/~jmcauley/)'s Lab for the rest of the coming year! That's why we are now open-sourcing a huge anonymized dataset for the training and evaluation of recommenders 🤖😄.

+We are doing this within controlled frameworks as part of the world's largest researcher and industry conference on recommender systems ([ACM RecSys](https://recsys.acm.org/)), under the initiative [RecSys Challenge 2024](https://recsys.acm.org/recsys24/challenge/).

+If you participate in the competition, your results must be submitted via the site above by June 15th at the latest - you can even win quite substantial prizes 💰.
