Onboarding Guide

Hello and welcome to team Chainge!

By now you should be added to our drive and slack. First, check out our onboarding doc on the Google Drive, which explains how to follow our thought process for the project up until where we are today: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L5MwxphujcUvjjL8CHw4CiL7b3-FeMnBlDkrm_3KygY/edit

Once you're done with that, come back to the Github and familiarize yourself with necessary elements of the code base.

Please stay active on the slack -- it will be used for everything from meeting scheduling to architecture and coding questions that might require a relatively quick response! We use Github issues for cataloguing code bugs, todos, etc.

DRIVE ORGANIZATION FYI:

Folders

• Architecture -- includes codebase architecture doc, protocol information
• SGMs -- slide decks for SGMs, feedback added at end of slide deck
• Needfinding + Feedback -- includes meetings with outside contacts
• Presentations -- important presentations to outsiders
• 210 Assignments -- includes Pink Bagel, internal team memo, launch weeks stuff, etc.
• Project Proposals and Iterations -- our initial proposal of a centralized database and our pivot to current project both have their own folders
• Research -- includes description at top of doc

1. Related Blockchain Company Research: companies doing similar things
2. Policy Research: identity fraud, privacy, Patriot Act, etc.
3. Random Research: misc. Info that may be useful in the future
4. Backend Research: Bitcoin White Paper, etc.
