Given that all PR's currently fail due to the
covrun in the config, I decided it was a good time to dig into uncharted territory and see if I could figure out how to fix it.I can't say that I have actually fixed the tests as far as what's being tested, reported and covered, but with these changes, I have at least gotten them to pass.
If there's anything I've missed or a test case that would be omitted due to this, I'll be happy to modify/learn.
