NQueueStuffer is a Windows Forms tool for generating and stuffing NServicebus messages on a queue. It lets the user choose an assembly and a messagetype that implements NServicebus.IMessage and generates a template message based on the messagetype. The user can then edit and stuff this message directly to a MSMQ queue.

What is this? NQueueStuffer is a Windows Forms tool for generating and stuffing NServicebus messages on a queue. It lets the user choose an assembly and a messagetype that implements NServicebus.IMessage and generates a template message based on the messagetype. The user can then edit and stuff this message directly to a MSMQ queue. The use case for it is the times when you just need to quickly insert a known message into a queue and don't want the hassle of having to making a specific application or unit test to make it happen. NQueueStuffer was started by Jan Ove Skogheim Olsen. Feel free to drop me a message(bugs, requests etc) at janovesk(a)pvv.org or twitter: janovesk Contributors: - janovesk with basic first version - netspark with several bug fixes, interface cleanup, save/load of configurations and cool new MDI interface! Installation instructions 1. Get source: git clone git://github.com/janovesk/NQueueStuffer.git 2. Compile NQueueStuffer.sln, either msbuild or Visual Studio 2010. Usage instructions 1. Run NQueueStuffer\NQueueStuffer.UI\bin\Debug\NQueueStuffer.UI.exe 2. Open an assembly with types implementing NServiceBus.IMessage by clicking new toolbar button. (both interface and concrete types are supported) by either - Pressing the "Load assembly with messagetypes" button - Drag an assembly onto the application from Windows Explorer 3. Choose a messagetype from the populated list. 4. Edit the generated message template how you wish. 5. Press "Stuff message in queue" to stuff message into a queue. You can repeat steps 2-5 any number of time, each time having new MDI child window opened. 6. After editing all needed templates you can save them. All Message templates and queue names will be saved into xml file along with assemblies. You will be able to load saved configuration anytime. 7. You can also run batch execution of all opened windows by clicking "play" button on toolbox. In popup opened you can set delay between messages in seconds. PS: You can change the default queue name by setting the defaultQueueName appsetting
