This is the first stable production release of the mongodb-k8s-sidecar reimplementation.
This is a quite extensive reimplementation of the original sidecar. This version uses Redis backed queues to sync communication and work between sidecars. Features include:
- Replica-Set initiation
- Replica-Set reconfiguration when pod states change
- Management of pod labels to describe state (can be used to route traffic to the primary host)
- Logging to elasticsearch
