At https://leanprover.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/270676-lean4/topic/vscode.20cursor.20position.20bug, it was reported that the new abbreviation provider cursor handling (#389) consistently produced incorrect behavior with VSCodeVim being installed.
This PR makes the abbreviation handling fall back to the old behavior when the Vim extension is installed.
